I can see a rainbow.....

Visit this site...

And see if you can pick my ball gown.
Well the one I want anyway.

Whilst she drank her tea and dreamed of better things

I must be the worlds most hopeless blogger.
Its true, and you know it.
Well heres an oath......

I swear after this god-forsaken chem exam I will be a more devoted blogger.

Although its been so long since my last blog I bet no one checks it anymore.

CHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMMMMM.........
is unbearable.

Ciao... for now.

P.S Wish me luck..

Why do you bulid me up, buttercup baby, just to let me down and mess me around?

When coming to write this blog I realised that I was at a loss for words.
How to sum up my life in the past few weeks?
Its not that easy, I'm telling you.

Re-reading over my last blog made me nonstalgic. Even though I thought it was bad at the time, things were actually good.

At least then I had a possibility.
A chance.
A hope.

A hope which ironically was crushed a few days later.
Leaving me in one, big, pathetic mess.

You can't help but feel regret for steps never taken. Full of 'what ifs'.

But I am however, lucky enough to have someone to pull me through, to tell me not to dwell on the past, and to tell me he is a stupid wank.

But oh god, I still wish he would stop haunting my thoughts 24/7.

Sunday, August 12, 2007

Round and round it goes.

He's screwing me around now and its really messing with me.
I know its probably unintentional, but how can he be that unobservant and oblivious to it all. Is he really that blind?

But the worse option would be to consider that he does realise, and he's not that blind.
And he doesnt really care about me at all........

Fuck that.
Then it just makes me mad.
Why send out signals if you don't really mean it.

That turns into anger at myself for letting it get to me and worrying incessively over it.
I'm a big girl. I'm independant.

Shit. That song.
Perfect timing.
Kiss me - Sixpence None the Richer.

How ironic.

And then it just turns back into a wistful longing.

From table number 89 to table 68.

So the day started off with me waking up at 7:00am. This is a whole hour later than usual. Total bliss!

I then proceeded to attend my little brother's assembly in which he had the smallest part ever but was still incredibly cute.

Yes, he can be cute at times.

Have to say, spent some of my time perving on cute sport teachers......
Only when Patrick wasn't on, I swear.
I'm a good older sister.

Mum then had the best idea of the morning, to take us out for breakfast.
I love my mum to death. She is wonderful.

Mmmmmmmmm........
Eggs benedict, smothered in Hollindaise sauce.
Crispy rashers of bacon.
Creamy to-die-for lattes.

And then, because I am such a wonderful friend I journeyed all the way into Subiaco to attend school. Liza is so lucky to have me.

School was wonderful because of the company.

But I have to admit, part of the incentive for coming in was to see him.
And see him I did.

Then just to prove my status as worlds best friend, I took Liza and Sarah out to coffee.
But I can't lie.... Sarah paid as well. :)

Dome was as usual full of massively out of this world lattes and scrumptious crunchy chips.
We had conversations about this and that and everything inbetween.
And about how men walk crotch first and legs apart.
We then proceeded to demonstrate to the rest of Perth just how to do it.

Embarressed aren't you :P

Life is almost perfect. Missing that one tiny detail.

Why am I so unluckily unlucky regarding my lovelife?
Am I really that much of a basket-case when it comes to guys?

The answer is most probably yes.

There really isn't any point to this blog. Expect the pour out my private thoughts onto the computer screen so every man and his dog can read them.

Sigh.

Thank god for Eliza.

10:15 on a Saturday night, Why can't I be with you? Lets go to bed.

Ok, so my plan was to gradually install excerpts from my ski trip until I had documented it all.

That plan is now bust.

Why you may be asking? I'll tell you why.

Because I went to see The Cure in concert last night.

And oh my fucking god they were good.

Im still dumbstruck the morning after.

Robert Smith (my love) is still incredibly hot for someone who is older than my dad. Zoey and I nearly had an epileptic fit when he came and stood right in front of us and sang.

Yes, we were right a the very front.

His crooning, souful voice had lost none of its spendour and sent me into spasms. Literally.

I'm actually depressed at this moment.

When are they coming back.

Or when am I going to go and see them?

When I save up enough money to fly over.

It was THE best concert I have been to.

It even beat Muse. And this is big coming from me.

They did three encores. And would have done more if I weren't going on into Sunday morning when it was supposed to finish at 10:30pm.

"Do, do, do, do, do, do, do ,do , Lets go to bed."

Of course I will Robert.

They sounded better than amazing.

Ashleigh, Rhi, Ellana, Ben, Matt and Zoey were great company.

But Zoey especially.

It was good to have someone to go crazy dancing, jumping and singing with.

And to go crazy over Robert.

My voice is gone.

One of the guys clearing the stage gave Zoey the beer bottle Robert had been drinking from.

I know!!!

But then the bastard security guard took it off her because apparently you arent allowed glass inside the arena.

Not before we drank from it though. It could be said that we have shared saliva with him.

"I don't care if Monday's blue

Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too

Thursday I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart

Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart

Oh, Thursday doesn't even start

It's Friday I'm in love

Saturday, wait

And Sunday always comes too late

But Friday, never hesitate...

I don't care if Mondays black

Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack

Thursday, never looking back

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head

Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed

Or Thursday - watch the walls instead

It's Friday, I'm in love

Saturday, wait

And Sunday always comes too late

But Friday, never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes

It's a wonderful surprise

To see your shoes and your spirits rise

Throwing out your frown

And just smiling at the sound

And as sleek as a shriek

Spinning round and round

Always take a big bite

It's such a gorgeous sight

To see you eat in the middle of the night

You can never get enough

Enough of this stuff

It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Monday's blue

Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too

Thursday I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart

Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart

Thursday doesn't even start

It's Friday I'm in love"

Even though it was a Saturday, Robert was singing it to me.

I'm coming Robert!!

I love Canberra

So I'm back from ski trip.

Well I have actually been back for two weeks now but have been too busy to write in my blog.

No, actually that was a lie.

I have been too lazy to write in my blog. But I want to document my time in the snow so I am going to post stuff that I wrote in my journal whilst I was over there.

Starting with Canberra.........

14/07/07 Saturday

Canberra. What is there to say about Canberra? Not much really other than it is a hole. A shitty hole. Literally.

Our plane left at 12:00 am on Friday night/Saturday morning. This is on Black Friday as well. A red eye flight on black Friday. hmmmmmmm. We landed in Canberra at 4:30 approx.

The plane trip summed up to me having a sore stomach, sore ears (which didnt pop until later that afternoon....... very painfully might I add), and crappy food. The meal was a "beef stirfry with noodles". Consisted of two pieces of beef. If you could even call it beef. The food was that bad that when we stopped for Macdonald at 6am, I was insanely relieved to have a plastic bacon and egg mcmuffin.
I remember very clearly the instant I stepped off the plane, and the cold that assaulted me. It was like a wall that hit you and surrounded you. Bloody freezing. The stairs that you have to walk down to get off the plane were covered in ice.

Canberra has been very uneventful so far. Apart from me being the most cold I have ever been in my enture life. My hands and feet feel like they may drop off. Me, being the clever one and all, decided to wear my Keds (ballet flats) and so half my feet were exposed to the cold.

I should stop complaining. I'm looking forward to the skiing.

So far we have seen Canberra C.B.D (nothing much I assure you) and driven down the war memorial parade (lots of tedious statues). Our grumpy old bus driver has managed to keep up a continuing monotonic commentation the whole time. Its quite a feat considering there is very little to talk about Canberra.

Highlights of Canberra

  • Defence Force Building

  • C.B.D

  • War memorial statues

  • Man made lake

  • Big Fountain

  • Government Buildings

  • Parliament House

7:30am

Ok.

My toes have actually lost feeling.

I'm not joking.

They made us get out of the bus, walk around parliament house, walk to the old parliament house and back. In minus 9 degrees. With me having inadequate footwear for the weather.

My toes feel like hot needles are piercing them.

So here I am on the bus, frantically rubbing them with my hands in an attempt to warm them up.

Aisling does not recommend.

9am

Time for more whinging. Eliza would be proud of me.

Questacon. Well, how do I describe it? Bright, Colourful, Primary School Science. Full of screaming kids.

Even our retreat to the coffee shop proved unsuccessful.

  • One teabag for a WHOLE pot of tea (you need at least two).

  • Plastic spoon

  • And when I asked for a slice of lemon, all i got was a wedge.

Shameful isn't it?

Afternoon was spent in the one and only shopping centre in the C.B.D. Matt, Cameron and I went to Starbucks (extremely good coffee), then I dragged them along to look at all of the insanely good designers shops (sigh....). then they dragged me to Gloria Jeans where we got more coffee goodness and spent our time playing tic tac toe and that stupid hand game Jot, Gen, Liza and I often play in study period.

We finally got to the motel, which I discovered pretty quickly was a shitty, shiity motel. Room was freezing so we turned the heater on full blast.

And my bed.

Oh god.... my bed.

When I lay on it the matress was actually touching the ground. Thats how shitty and broken the springs were. But only on one side, which meant I spent all night stopping myself from rolling onto the floor. Twas not a good nights sleep.

Dinner was atrocious.

Something they dared to call chicken scnitzel, barely edible wedges and soggy cooked carrots and peas (I despise cooked veges).

We dined from the vending machine this evening. We being my roomates Hayley, Alana, Molly and Sarah.

The next morning it was rise and shine at 6am, breakfast at 7am (that packet scrambled eggs stuff you mix with water and cook, plastic sausages and baked beans) and then it was off to the mountains.

Huzzah!

Bleary-Eyed.

It is 8 o'clock in the morning and Aisling is awake.
This may not sound like big news to you, but trust me it is.

I'm never up anytime before 10:30 on the holidays, that is unless I need to go somewhere.
Ask Eliza. Its true.

So you may be asking what I am doing up so unnaturally early.
Stupid Ski Trip.
I was so excited, I couldn't sleep.
Which I don't appreciate.

Who am I kidding?
No one cares about my sleeping habits.
What a stupid thing to write a blog about.

Short Circuit and pasta.

Its 11:59pm. I really should think about going to bed and giving my computer some rest.
I was talking to Mikey though, so it's quite understandable that I lost track of the time.
Mikey is quite the awesome.

I don't know why I am wasting more time on the computer.
Poor computer.
It must be quite sick of me.

Goodnight all.

To pass the time.

Time for blog number two.
Once again my day was very uneventful and contained little excitement.
So writing this blog was less for others to read (as they would gain little enjoyment out of it) and more for my own benefit.
For passing the time that is.

I really shouldn't be complaining.
How often have I said to people that my perfect day involves me having no plans and lounging around the house all day?
Its strange, because I'm far from content.
Something is missing, but I can't pinpoint exactly what it is.

My computer has had a lot of company the past few days anyway.

I believe I am going to be seeing Eliza tomorrow so that should dispel my boredom.
And ski trip on Friday.
Immensely excited!
I made Matt promise to have a snow fight with me and build a snowman.
Which means I have to buy a carrot to make as its nose.
And buy some coal for its eyes.
Because that's what they always use in the books.
Yay!!

I should buy more winter clothes however. My winter wardrobe currently consists of one pair of jeans and 2 long sleeve shirts.
Which means more shopping.
Hey, I'm not complaining.

Like a flock of sheep

So.....
Here I am....
On a monday morning...
First day of the holidays......

You'd think I would still be lying, wrapped in my covers, smiling blissfully at the fact I have no obligation to get up anytime soon.

But no. Instead I find myself sitting at the computer insanely bored. It is not a feeling I am used to. Usually I can grab myself any book and be perfectly content for the rest of the day. Maybe its because my past weekend has been the embodiment of contentment. Maybe its because I have gotten used to having great company around (namely Liza and Sarah).

Or maybe its because I want to see a certain someone.

So here I am. Reading Lizas blog. Deciding that creating my own blog would be beneficial for my english writing skills and a good way to clear my thoughts. I guess I am just following the crowd. It would never have occured to me to keep a blog if I had not read Sarah's and Liza's.

It should be interesting. i have never kept a journal, diary or anything of the sort previous to this.

I think I like it.
Seeing my thoughts typed out on a computer screen. Strangly it gives me a sense of...... accomplishment?? I'm not sure if that is the accurate word to decribe how I feel, but it comes close enough.
